  Very clean tidy motel, huge room and extra clean bathroom/ensuite. Lovely pool and spa and management exceptionally friendly. A little bit out of the town centre but only a three minute drive. Thoroughly recommend it.

  Very clean room/bathroom, lovely swimming pool and beautiful gardens. The hosts were very friendly and gave us good recommendations on what to see and do around Port Douglas. We loved our stay and thoroughly recommend.

  This is a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are spacious, clean & very affordable and have all the amenities needed. It’s a well-run, neat and tidy site with a great swimming pool and spa.
  The owners are really helpful, they booked all my tours for me and I had a fantastic time staying here.
  I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Port Douglas - highly recommended!

  I have a wonderful 4-night stay at Lazy Lizard. I rate it 10 out of 10!
  
  The owners are very helpful right starting from the booking was confirmed. They answered every question I had incl. weather, transportation, activities, etc. They booked all my tours and Cairns-Port Douglas-Cairns transportations. On my day leaving PD to Cairns, I had to wait more than 20min for the shuttle to arrive. Aidan the owner called the driver and then assured me that he was on the way to pick me up. As a solo female traveller, I very much appreciate the help and advice they have given.
  
  The room is very clean. The room has a small kitchen area. So there are two sinks in the room so I can wash fruits in the kitchen. In most hotel room, you only have one sink in the bathroom.
  
  The location is also good even though not right in the town. It only took me 11min to walk to 4 Miles Beach (the sunrise there is amazing) and about 20min to Marina and town. If you don't feel like walking there are shuttles available all day: $5 one way and $8.50 return.
  
  Overall I am very pleased with the stay here, and would like to take my family to here one day

  What a fabulous place to stay. Aiden and Alex are marvelous hosts, extremly knowledgeable about all the local tourist destinations and happy to help with any requests. I would highly recommend to anyone coming to stay in Port Douglas to stay at the Lazy Lizard Motor Inn

  Only stayed one night but wish it had been more- far more. It is a well run establishment with very friendly hosts.

  Accommodations were delightful! Rooms were lean, large and airy. Grounds were tropical and well-kept. Owners were very nice and helpful. All-in-all, it made for a very homey, calming stay.
