  After watching our young kids (4 & 7) take to their first time snorkelling at Low Isles with ease, we asked a retired diving instructor and some local shop keepers in Port Douglas which outer reef tour operators they'd recommend and everytime SilverSonic was mentioned. So we booked in, and it didn't disappoint.
  From the friendly, informative and professional bus driver who arrived at exactly 730pm as promised, to every lifeguard, wait staff and dive staff on board EVERY crew member was super friendly, attentive, knowledgable and helpful.
  I loved the attention to detail like the clear and informative snorkelling briefings on arrival at each of the 3 sites about where to go, what to expect or look for, and what the current was doing. There was also an excellent and entertaining marine biology talk between sites 1 & 2 (that had my just turned 4yr old glued and enthralled for 20mins), plus great advice to eat first as soon as lunch arrived at site 2, as the divers would be really hungry when the returned 30mins later. (Fair enough!)
  Full credit also to all the staff who were so caring and attentive to all the sea sick passengers on our choppy ride home too.
  The food included was great value including a hot and cold buffet lunch with a constant supply of meats, prawns, salads, curries and rice, plus a morning tea of biscuits, muffins and danishes, and afternoon tea of cheese, crackers and cakes. No one went hungry and there was final offers for any last food, before they put it away.
  Overall the venue was very clean, comfortable and well presented, staff were all A1, and it was a truly fantastic and memorable experience. We would do it again, and highly recommend.

  Great service, the boat is OK and well maintained and the locations are just great. If you are diving, make sure you do the drift dive that is just the best!
