- Nicholas Papas Added July 08, 2020★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Our first evening in Port Douglas was spent at the Han Court upon recommendation & a very good choice indeed. It was a beautiful balmy night, an outside table washed by a gentle sea breeze. My partner & I loved the wooden & cane decor, a slightly old world feel & created a wonderful ambience & atmosphere. The service was very good & efficient, but lacked a little warmth & genuine interest. The chicken & sweet corn soup was excellent, as were the two entrees, the main meal & rice soon followed, perhaps a tad over cooked. We're not very proficient with chop sticks, the staff quickly replaced them with cutlery. We asked for extra sauce/juice & it was no trouble. Maybe a little pricey, but we found the food in the main delicious & came back a second time. We both would definitely recommend this restaurant & seemed well patronised. Try it. Cheers.
